We awarded a total of $9,824.00 to 6 teachers this year and selected 4 winners in Q4!
Nathan Fields, J.T Moore Middle School
Grant awarded to utilize Microsoft Class Notebook to create digital spaces where we can collaborate and share information as class. Each student is creating their own digital portfolio that they will use to compile their learning.
Sarah Hall, Henry C. Maxwell
Grant award for Ozobots. "While working with the Ozobots we were able to explore different careers that involved coding and many students left the classroom wanting to be programmers by the end of the year."
Lily Joy, East Middle Magnet School
Grant awarded for STEAM kits. "These hands-on STEAM kits will allow students to utilize 21st Century skills while applying knowledge of the standards."
Brittany Paschall, Croft Middle School
Grant awarded for ISTE Certification for Educators program, the first step in becoming an ISTE Certified Educator. ISTE Certification for Educators is the only vendor-neutral, internationally recognized credential for educators who have demonstrated mastery of the ISTE Standards for Educators.
