We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Sophia Wing, a long time WiTT member and most recently Enterprise Program Manager at BMI. Sophia was a friend and advocate for many in our community, and she will be greatly missed. To honor her memory, we have included remembrances of Sophia from her BMI colleagues and fellow WiTT members, Joy Mangrum and Theresa Zuckowsky.

"Sophia and I became teammates at BMI in 2019 when we were hired within one month of each other. As newbies to the same team we quickly bonded over learning the ropes. We enjoyed attending the downtown WiTT networking events together and laughed every time we realized we knew the same person but somehow had not meet before. Her kind heart and clever wit were only trumped by her sweet tooth for European chocolates. Those who knew her can take some comfort in remembering the joy and laughter she brought each time she was near." - Theresa Zuckowsky

"I had the privilege to meet Sophia several years ago at a WiTT event when we happen to sit at the same table for a topic discussion. We ended up talking for over an hour afterwards about everything and nothing that evening. Fast forward three years later at BMI, and I’m helping interview for a new hire and in walks Sophia for the interview. Needless to say, we hired her. She brought a smile with her every day and an enthusiasm in every endeavor. She mentored countless men and women throughout her career, and they speak so highly of her.
